Overview
The official Arcane Season 2 poster dropped in the morning.
By the end of the day, I had animated and released it.
Honestly? It felt like working under an official contract, high pressure, high reward.
Challenges & Approach
The challenge was simple: do it in one day.
That meant animating multiple characters, clothes, hair, and tiny details across dozens of layers, all built from nothing more than the PNG source posted on Arcane’s Instagram.
My mindset was: respect the original art at all costs. Keep it true, keep it authentic.
And when the clock is ticking? “When something seems impossible or scary, that’s when you jump.” A random motivational reel from my feed, but it stuck.
So I jumped.
Result
The piece was finished and released the same night. Imperfect but alive. I didn’t even have time to fully animate Jayce’s top baton, but that’s fine. Perfection is the enemy of progress.
The motion was reposted by the official League of Legends account, and it looked every bit like an asset that could’ve been on their platforms.
For me, it was proof: even under the tightest deadlines, I can deliver motion that feels official, crafted, cinematic, and ready for release.
